Mtiebi Vocal Workshop:

Mtiebi are an all male traditional choir of nine all the way from Georgia. The workshop will be based around traditional songs, music and dances from Georgia, collected over 25 years of field trips throughout the varied regions of the country. Music is central to Georgian heritage - in Georgia there is a song to be sung for every occasion! The choir are renowned for incredible harmonic singing and participants will get a chance to work on harmonies.

Mtiebi have performed at prestigious events throughout the UK and abroad and have been described in Georgia as their "national treasure".

Workshop - Caryford Community Hall, Castle Cary. Thursday 12th June. 4.30pm. All ages welcome. The workshop is free to all Out Loud participants, their friends and family.

Performance - Caryford Community Hall, Castle Cary. Thursday 12 th June 7.30pm. Performance tickets are a reduced cost of £8.00 to Out Loud workshop participants.

Following last years project at Chilton Trinity Technical College, Actiontrack has put together a small exhibition of photgraphs documenting the project. The exhibition can be seen at The Engine Room, Bridgwater until May 6th 2008.
