Get Creative @ Taunton...

Towards the European Institute for Arts and Social Engagement

As you may be aware Actiontrack is part of a new partnership running an action-research programme based in Taunton during January. This is to enable us to open the ideas behind the Boden Project - an Arts Council and Royal Society of Arts funded initiative to research the feasibility of the above Institute - to a broader group and to start to investigate possible pilot models.

The programme will take place in the two weeks beginning January 16th based in two unused shops at 4 qnd 5 Mendip House at the Vivary Park end of Taunton High Street.

During the fortnight we are running two discussion evenings to introduce and investigate ideas around our research. The first of these, for Artists and Educators, will be held at Mendip House on Wednesday 18th January and the second an open discussion will be on Thursday 26th Jan. Both from 6.00 - 8.00. We will also be running Creative Breakfasts from 7.30 each Tuesday and Friday morning as creative advice, drop-in and taster sessions.
